Every set of our Talit Petil begins as raw wool and is spun by hand li’shmah — with explicit intent for the mitzvah of tzitzit. This is the same method preserved by sofrim and master craftsmen for generations.
The white strings are tied to your tallit’s four corners and form the foundation of the mitzvah of tzitzit.
Three Thread Weights
- Thin (דק) — Lightweight, elegant. Best for everyday tallit or summer wear.
- Medium (בינוני) — The classic, balanced choice. Most popular.
- Thick (עבה) — Substantial and weighty. Preferred by many for Shabbat & Yom Tov tallit.
